| Subject: Lingerie Advertisement on Billboard Permitted Mon May 18, 2009 10:21 pm | |
| Amsterdam – The Advertisement Code Commission (ACC) has rejected two complaints concerning billboard advertisements from the lingerie company Sapph. The images – female models in sexy poses – are digitally edited. The ACC notes that this strategy is well known by the public and thus not a threat to the physical and mental health of society. They also ruled that the Sapph billboards do not violate “good taste,” “values,” or “common morals.” The Commission declared the images not too explicit. (Spits, May 18, 2009) | |
